We started off like most training companies by running face-to-face sessions in soft skills. We soon gained a reputation for our unique engaging delivery style and content.
From traditional beginnings, we have now become a pioneering blended training provider. We specialise in bespoke programmes that are shaped around client objectives and culture. We have a wide range of intervention styles. We won’t suggest an intervention style unless we are convinced that it will add value. In so doing, every programme and learning journey can be unique but every touchpoint is consistent. We don’t outsource anything. We design, build and deliver everything so you can be assured of a consistent approach that is on brand, on message and will change your people for good.
Since launching, we have also developed over 250 original courses that have been used in leading organisations around the world. We can also work with your content and create learning experiences that transcend your expectations. All of our trainers and intervention developers have real-world experience. Many have held senior management positions so bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise that contextualises programmes. If we don’t change your people for the better then we don’t want to be paid.
We are not interested in ‘crank then handle’ training which is not going to result in any positive change. We have actually been known to walk away from work if we couldn’t see a way of bringing discernible change. We are proud to still work with our original clients, none of whom have ever taken us up on our 100% money-back guarantee. We are still changing and adopting new ways of working and learning into our approach. Everything that we do is underpinned by proven learning science but we also embrace new technology and listen closely to the needs of our clients.

With four decades of experience driving growth and innovation, Bob Bannister is a veteran business leader. As founder and managing director of iManage Performance Ltd., Bob provides strategic oversight and hands-on leadership in business development, consulting, training and coaching.
Bob began his career as an engineer, completing an apprenticeship and working with leading manufacturers like Qualcast, DuPont, and Philips. He later served as a Senior Consultant at a specialist procurement consultancy before founding the training consultancy iManage. As a mature student, Bob earned an MBA from the University of Brighton a pivotal moment that catalysed his entrepreneurial journey.
Even while managing a thriving company, Bob remains deeply involved in service delivery and client relationships. His enduring enthusiasm for learning shines through in his work.
Beyond the office, you may find Bob racing to the podium in amateur circuits or laying down bass lines with his bandmates. In his empty nest years, he brings a wealth of experience, energy and wisdom to every endeavour. Though decades into his career, Bob tackles each day with youthful exuberance, continuing to grow his business and himself.
Sally has worked alongside Bob since the beginning, a co-founder and Director of iManage Performance, mainly looking after the finance of the business. Finance wasn’t my first career therefore a steep learning curve was needed to step up into iManage!
As well as finance, the day to day logistics include, managing diaries & client needs, making sure everyone goes where they need to go, along with all the materials they need to take, managing the back office so everything runs smoothly.
Away from the office, (not very often) I have a busy, growing family life, look after a charities finance, love home interior & don’t tell the boss but I have become a bit of a petrol head over the years 🙂
A homegrown talent, Josh has been working in the L&D space for the last 8 years, creating management and leadership training content for our clients and occasionally stepping into the training room as a facilitator. Josh found his real calling in coaching though. Believing in relationships first, Josh works closely with clients to cultivate a truly safe space in which individuals are free to dig deep into what’s going on for them. Enabling exploration, discovering new insights, and committing to positive change; is what coaching is all about for Josh.
In his spare time, Josh is also a professional musician, signed to a record label in the USA, making albums and playing shows with his band Lion of Judah.
